“I want to use Out of Network Benefits.”

Some insurance policies include “Out of Network” coverage. In this case, you will pay at time of service and file the paperwork needed to get reimbursement from your insurance provider. RMTP will provide you a superbill upon request, however we will not submit the request for you.

To start the process, we recommend that you call your insurance carrier and get more information. First, ask them, “Do I have Out of Network Benefits for Physical Therapy?”

If so…

  • “Do I have to meet a deductible before I receive any covered benefits. If so, how much is the out-of-network deductible?”

  • “Are my in-network and out-of-network deductibles separate, or combined?”

  • “Is there a copay or a coinsurance applied to out-of-network PT?”

  • “Do I need a Doctor’s order dated prior to my PT treatment for it to be covered?”

  • “Do I have a visit limit for out-of-network PT?”

After you determine that you may qualify for reimbursement from you insurance provider based on the answers to the questions above, please ask us for a superbill. These get batched out monthly and will be emailed to you so that you may submit for reimbursement.
